locogato11283
OK, if you have seen any of my hillclimb videos you've probably seen me run over my leg at least twice. That shit hurts. I have been lucky to not have broken anything. So, in an effort to keep my legs in tact, I designed some heel guards for use with Roll Design foot pegs.I designed the pegs, put them on paper and sent it to JD.I got them last week, bought some 1" nylon from Jo Ann fabric and had my grandma sew them up for the netting.I got to use these today. You can't even tell they're there, which is what I wanted.Starting the bike with them is no issue. I have a big 18DM and if I can start it with that motor, you can start anything. They weigh 1 pound 14 ounces per side. Here are some pics..

Scrubtherubber
looks pretty cool, after seeing my friend get 147 staples from his knee to his gootch from getting sucked under his yfz, heel guards are always a plus

87sheerips
nice write up Tyler, and I apprecite you being patient with a multi-week turnaround for this project. But, they did turn out nice and I am glad to have been able to help you out. These are available to order, and will fit most bikes im sure with minor modifications on your end. I can provide you with a print to see how they will work with your machine. Obviously they are currently designed to mount up to ROLL pegs, but I can move the bolt hole locations for you upon request. $250 shipped for the pair, any color PC, netting not included. Maybe Tylers Gma can hook you up? Thanks again, -JD
