OK, if you have seen any of my hillclimb videos you've probably seen me run over my leg at least twice. That shit hurts. I have been lucky to not have broken anything.

So, in an effort to keep my legs in tact, I designed some heel guards for use with Roll Design foot pegs.

I designed the pegs, put them on paper and sent it to JD.

I got them last week, bought some 1" nylon from Jo Ann fabric and had my grandma sew them up for the netting.

I got to use these today. You can't even tell they're there, which is what I wanted.

Starting the bike with them is no issue. I have a big 18DM and if I can start it with that motor, you can start anything.

They weigh 1 pound 14 ounces per side.

Here are some pics..

nice write up Tyler, and I apprecite you being patient with a multi-week turnaround for this project.  But, they did turn out nice and I am glad to have been able to help you out.  These are available to order, and will fit most bikes im sure with minor modifications on your end.  I can provide you with a print to see how they will work with your machine. Obviously they are currently designed to mount up to ROLL pegs, but I can move the bolt hole locations for you upon request.

$250 shipped for the pair, any color PC, netting not included.  Maybe Tylers Gma can hook you up?

Thanks again,
