bignasty1
first off minkia38 was a ease to work with when i was getting my pipes he replied to all my questions and helped me get my pipes here b4 my big ride the week end... so dont worry about ordering from him his service and ease to contact was great and i couldnt have asked for better. so on a customer service level he got a big fuckin 10. the pipes them selves were a breeze to install since i allready had my old pipes removed it took exactly 23 minutes to assemble the silencers(2 peices no biggie) and install on the bike all the hard ware was there along with the exhaust gaskets everything went together with no problem. the quality of the pipes is top notch great looking welds bent perfectly and plain sick lookin while installed on the bike so considering you have all the tools needed (pipe spring puller or pliers and some assorted sockets.) it would only take about 45 minutes to install the pipes on your bike if you have your old set still on. (UPDATED RIDE REVIEW->) now for the ride review. I had a short ride i briefly described earlier on this post but here is a updated version from the weekend trip to give a better over all review and a updated opinion of mine. Okay my ride consisted up of really tight trails long open trails tall steep windy hill climbs and a few really nice open straits i pretty much had every ride situation other than sand and in kentucky you wont be finding much of that... the pipes performed flawlessly(sp) they had more power overall than my fmf gnarly's which are more of a low to mid range pipe more than anything else.this came to a major surprise to me and was a very very welcome one as well at that. The power comes on strong and low with a powerfull mid range punch and a super strong long revving top end they felt like cpi inframes with a good bit more low end. these pipes go way up there on my charts of over all favorite pipes that i have ridden and there arent many i have not ridden yet. and now for the drag raceing i was able to get in on a really nice long strait on my property where i was able to get all the way through 6th and hold it. pretty much all the bikes i rode with had very compareable set ups compared to mine. there were 3 banshee not including mine this weekend as well as 2 warriors and a brand new stock 400ex.my mods are in the sig below so you can compare set ups. the first bike i raced had a prodesign cool head and 19cc domes with t5's and a open lid air box. he got owned by about 2-3 bike lengths no matter who was riding. the next bike had fattys and a set of turbine core siencers with a milled stock head (155 lbs of comp) and a open lid box with a prodesign filter. he didnt do as well as my friend who had the t5's due to traction but i think on concrete he wouldnt have done much better if any at all riding his quad made me really appreciate the switch i made since he was runnin damn near my old set up. and the third guy with pc's did about as good as by friend with the t5's and he had a nice running bike in my opinion. so over all i think these are some of the best constructed functioning and coolest looking pipes i have seen, and to top all that off they sound absolutly wicked really raspy with a amazing sounding screem while not being to loud at all. if any one has any questions feel free to ask. just shoot me a pm or post what ya got to say.L8ter blake p.s. sorry for the novel but i wanted to be really thorough(sp) on how quality and worth the money they really are. Minkia38
thanks for the accurate review! I noticed the same thing going from pro circuits to rockets! big big gains throughout the entire band I didnt make them myself, but I know the owner of the company that does, and he asked me to be a distributer for him, especially on the internet. After I tried the pipes, i called him right up and told him ' hell yeah ill sell them for you'. You have to believe in a product before you can sell it right!! anyways, they are $425 plus shipping, but if you tell me your from banshee hq, i'm allowed to drop it to $400, so let me know. I have about 10 sets until Christmas - so first come first serve - ill post some pics later on some other bikes thanks again bignasty, I told you that you would love them - I sure as hell couldnt believe the difference
fixitrod
As far as a seller, I'd trust Minkia. I've ridden with him at silver lake and he's a great guy... even though I couldn't keep up with him Besides, I know where he lives

Banchetta
How is the power at lower rpms???Are they a high rev pipe?
Minkia38
great low end AND top end due to the design, like most banshee pipes, you have to rev these out, but no more than any other pipe made....
Ducman
They sound like a pretty good pipe. Many questions. How is the fit as far as fitting under the stock fenders and access to the head and carbs. Also for the $400 pipes, do they come with any crome/nickle or are they bare? Is there a simple off the shelf spark arestor that fit the silencers or are they available with a turbine core style silencer. How would you say these compare with the FMF STS. Minkia38
$425 for bare metal, or $525 for chrome there are Sparky Spark Arrestors that fit perfectly they blow SSTs away by every aspect it is harder to get to the head, but to change the plugs, its easy from hte front, believe it or not
