LowlyOilBurner
Recently got a +6 arched swingarm and I'm wondering if the ass end of the bike is supposed to be this jacked up? It settles to a more "normal" height when you sit on it, just seems jacked up pretty high? The rear shock is getting re-sprung and valved, or replaced with something aftermarket. Starwriter
No, it's not supposed to be that jacked up. It kind of looks like you're running a link shock setup on a no link swingarm. Hard to tell from that far away on an arched swinger. On a straight square tube swinger, the link attachment point is above the tube. On the no link swinger, the shock attachment point is near the bottom edge of the tube.
Starwriter
oops! Forget about what I just typed. If that were the case, the bike would be lower, not higher.
fappy'97
Looks like a no-link arm to me...
locogato11283
Is there a shock linkage on there? Looks like a no-link arm.

LowlyOilBurner
It has the stock linkage on it from the oem swinger.

LowlyOilBurner
That pic doesn't show shit. I'll get some close up pics tomorrow.
locogato11283
Who built the arm? The linkage mount looks too low for a linkage setup.
LowlyOilBurner
I got it from east coast atv. No idea the make. Maybe wheelman chassis? Called them up and asked for a +6 arm, this showed up.
fappy'97
STR Racing builds those swing arms. Wheelmans have two side gusset tubes, compared to the one like you've got.
Starwriter
I think it's just made stupid. Still hard to tell from that pic. If you draw an imaginary line through the swingarm pivot and the axle, the center of the link attachment bolt on the swinger should be about 1 1/2" above your imaginary line. Yours looks like the bolt is a BUNCH higher that the imaginary line.
LowlyOilBurner
Here's a pic of the swinger off the bike, again it may or may not help I determining wtf I got going on. I'll get more detailed pics tomorrow:
