Justintoxicated
I fergot what tool I needed to adjust my timing plate...It's a flywheel puller right?? And if so is this an easy thing to adjust myself without an air compressor or special wrench? How do I know how much to tighten the nut back up? I want to advance my timing 4 degrees, and I have an adjustable plate already. Thanks.

Yea thats odd, I called ricky stator and he told me I would have to remove the flywheel. Even if I can leave it on do I still need the puller? They said they didn't have enough time tomarrow to torque the nut off for me, and I would have to wait till next week and maybe they can do it for me...But I can't wait and wait on sch a little thing to be done. Im going to buy a puller tomarrow unless I REALY don't need one yet. Cause $15 for the puller is 3 days lunch here!
SDD
Don't worry about a puller if your going to have your crank welded. You'll have to remove the flywheel if your going to send out the crank. Check your PM and let me know if you want it done.
Hiram
Once installed it can be adjusted without removing the flywheel anymore, but first you must have it installed and that requires replacing the stock one with the adjustable one and the flywheel must be removed to do this. Justintoxicated
I already have the adj timing plate installed. I went ahead and picke dup a flywheel puller anyways since I have needed it more than once now. it was only $15.. Seems I pull off the flywheel then adjust the timing plate my loosening the 3 screws and moving it to the proper alignment?
Forcefed
Seems I pull off the flywheel then adjust the timing plate my loosening the 3 screws and moving it to the proper alignment? Yup...but if you can adjust it without removing the flywheel, I would suggest that route. Either way you decide to do it....be patient !
