BuckeyeShee21
Converting my cub to alky. One of the questions I had was I ordered a quick disconnect for easier purge process. The thing has a plastic insert and spring inside of the body where the alky would flow. Does this affect the flow at all? seems to me it would be very restrictive. Didn't want to start this up for the first time and starve it for fuel. It is a tusk brand btw.
Boston
I run one on my 7mil cub and didnt have a problem. I think it's there to make disconnecting easier. Mine popped out and I didn't bother putting it back in.
Boston
I have seen one not letting fuel through before.
okbeast
Run a T in the line with a hose coming off the T and a shut-off valve on that line for purging. No restriction on flow.
Boston
There ya go. Also could just put some kind of cap on that T then just pull it off and slide your fuel line on it and good to go. I do like the quick disconnects though. Easy to drain the tank without making a mess at all.
