Zillaguy
Has anyone ever matched the piston windows to the intake ports?

Zillaguy
I think I could handle the job... Just would like to hear some specifics from someone who has done this.. Would you want it matched at TDC? If not where in the stroke does the piston need to be to match the windows with the intake port... I wouldn't want to take too much off the top, or bottom... just match them..
Jereme6655
a lot of us here don't advise it as it tends to make for weak pistons if you take just a little too much. Porting your motor will give you WAY more power.

Colby
gained almost 2 hp on a 4mil on pump gas by scribing on the pistons thought the intake ports and cutting .. never gave me any problems, never even worried about it.. but you CAN go to far very easily ..
