Make sure nubs on flywheel are clean. Check gap at both nubs. Are carbs clean like virgin pussy or 8 mile hooker? Retorque after heat cycles? Even though new top end, what's the compression? What does the spark look like? Have you ohmed coil and plug caps? Check all connections? Clean bare metal at coil mount or seperate ground for it?

see what i dont understand is that it uses the same amount of fuel wot in 1-4 as it does in 5th and 6th right? it doesnt sense what gear it just knows throttle position ill have a chance to take a look at it tomorrow and im gonna try and build a leak down tester or see if the shop by me has one. might have the guy that owns the shop take it for a spin and see what he thinks

well i think i got a couple.bugs figured out...got to looking at ignition coil.and the ground was spliced in 2 spots so i got rid of one splice and cleaned carbs again real good. i can hit wot 3rd 4th and doesnt cut out but 1st and 2ndi lose a cylinder and it follows the plug boot when i move it. havnt checked pickup gap or done compression test thats next on my list and i also might move my main up to 290-300
