Yellashee
toomey tr6 pipes/silencers k&n w/proflo, no lid. right at sea level 290 mains, 25 pilots What gives? We already checked his spark plug caps, they were in fact loose. Tightened those up, it still spits and sputters something fierce. What clip is the needle set from stock? We literally pulled his stock pipes off and put these on, then dropped the bowls and changed out the mains for 290's. I'm very mechanically inclined, just not on 2-strokes. This is sort of a learning curve for both of us. We both run the same mix 32:1 with Klotz on 93. (Mine is running GREAT with timing mod/fmf fattys/290 mains/30 pilots) I'm at my wit's end with his, I'm just assuming it's his jets. Be easy! trickedcarbine
Try a 310 and raise the needle one clip.
sleeper06
Jett's are close enough to not give you those problems swap coils, plug caps should ohm out at around 5.50kohm -7kohm,is it possible you have an air leak? Or burning coolant

Yellashee
He didn't have access to 310's, but I had an extra set of 300 mains, so we put those in and went one up on the needle. Running spot on, no more spitting and stumbling on top. Thanks for the quick replies guys. Louisiana weather changes so much, I have a feeling buying one of those multi-jet kits is going to be a good idea with summer coming up.
