WINDYCITYJOHN400
I seal mine with the "O-ring spray" from Noss or Chariot. The kit comes with a Kool Head, so I can eliminate the head gasket. Works great every time.
SHEEMAN0415
Not to bring up an old thread, but i just did a top end rebuild and the head gasket is leaking antifreeze, i was told to put it on bare, should i take the head off and copper spray it? trickedcarbine
Clean the head and verify it's flatness. Lap it or mill it if it's to far gone. Do the same with the cylinders. When you install it, leave the jugs sorta loose. Then torque the head first. Do the base nuts after. This allows the jugs to pull up and seal to the head more evenly.
