kshoulde35
What are some of the experiences you all have had with stock stroke motors of all kinds (stock jugs, cubs, twisters, trex etc...) vs 4mil, 7mil, and 10mil motors of all assortments.... How much can each type of crank hurt or help in a race on the different surfaces? in other words do the stock stroke cranks ever have an advantage? m671054
I think its a poorly worded question. I would rec big bore then big stroke. But it would be interesting to know about what makes more power for example a 10 dm 611 or a 16 cheetah 610? i would guess the dm would have slighty better tq. sprinklerman
I like more stroke for my riding, but my experience with big bores is limited..and they might have not been tuned too well. My riding= dunes/sand drag.
kshoulde35
Anyway i can get this topic deleted in order to form a better question in a new top?
theneil
the banshee engine stock is "over square" with the bore being longer than the stroke by 10 mm (64 bore/54 stroke) so i believe closing the gap fattens the whole powerband while barely losing any rpm. still losing some overrev but bettering everywhere else. in short Strokers are great
