RACxEMxWILLIE
Anyone ever went with this kit. The reason im getting it is because it comes with the stroker pistons. Also, does this expensive bastard bolt straight up? Any suggestions are appreciated.

trickedcarbine
The Weisco cranks are ok. I did my passion motor with a Weisco crank and pistons and it has held up to a full year of abuse now. My last big bIg bore motor had a Weisco crank and it lasted about t years of year round riding and it was on a motor with many issues and it held up to a lot of abuse. The day finally came that it ate to much coolant and it let go on one of the rod bearings on the big end. But the crank parts them selves didn't actually break and didn't cause any other engine damage.
registered user
wiseco cranks are junk. made in china. seen alot of em broke on other sites. not specific banshee but dirtbikes like cr250/kx250
trickedcarbine
Huh, I always thought they were from Taiwan like hot rods. I've seen the banshee stuff hold up, but as far as other stuff, not do much.

registered user
maybe wang and wiseco rods are one of the same ?
dozer
seems like the offroad community in general has not had good luck with crankshafts. several years back the raptor 660 folks were breaking hotrods cranks like crazy, dunno if the issue was ever resolved. the only banshee crank i have had was a hotrod 4 mil. it was great and i wouldnt hesitate to use another.
