HomesteadBanshee Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 My question is can you mix and matched pipes and sillencers????? I wanna know if you can put t5 head pipes with 916 silencers??? Quote
tsharktim Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 You'll be fine as long as they line up. I've seen ppl use high temp silicone hose if they don't line up toc cover the gap. Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 T5's will Not even be close to lining up with 916 stinger tubes. Stinger tube length and placement is Way off to line both up. I've had T5's and currenty run second gen 916's. Quote
HomesteadBanshee Posted February 27, 2013 Author Report Posted February 27, 2013 If it's possible anybody done it and have pics I just wanna do something different with a pipe set up... Quote
mouzon30 Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 You can just cut the silencer off the pipe and switch Quote

HomesteadBanshee Posted February 27, 2013 Author Report Posted February 27, 2013 That's exactly what I wanna do it I remember my old banshee when I had it It had t5's and always loved the the sound of those things. so I always wondered how sweet they would sound with some 916 silencers connected to those t5 pipes. I bet they sound sick!!!! Where would you have to weld and what type of metal do I use to get it welded together???? Quote
Nightmare Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 So its all about the way it sounds:lol: Sent from my SGH-T679 using Tapatalk 2 Quote
mouzon30 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Bolt the silencers to the pipe and cut the mount From the pipe and find a good welding shop Quote

HomesteadBanshee Posted February 28, 2013 Author Report Posted February 28, 2013 Lol I just love the sound of two stroke screaming with some nice pipes, plus I'm pretty sure it would give t5 a lil more bottom end... Also never had dmc 916s so I sont know how they pull but I did have t5 and did have a lil bottom and great mixture or mid and top end power. honestly Im not a fan of CPI's because I trail ride. Quote
