sheerider1026 Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 Yea its definately a nice little boost.. I ran a 30 shot for a bit... Fun stuff. Worst that i had happen was a plug backed out.. Quote
troyzstang Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 Have to agree with Sprinkles. With alky start rich and i mean fuel spewing out the the pipe rich and back it off from there. It is user friendly especially with lectrons. Well worth the extra step of purging. Troy Quote

#1JUANstunna Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 What LILSTVN fails to mention that I believe he was running pumper carbs with a bad fuel pump. Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Shit carbs + shit tuner + shit knowledge = BOOM Alky isnt rocket science. Fack even Skeeter was able to get his to run on it WITHOUT hurting parts... Do a little research BEFORE you make the jump. Have the carbs inspected/setup by a REAL BUILDER (dont take some slap dicks word that they are alky carbs) and use some common sense and you will have no issue. Stock cylds are the best to learn alky on anyways because IF you were to hurt something replacement parts are quick, cheap, easy to get. Quote
sandbum80 Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Okay k&t set up carbs, who set up the motor? What was the squish, compression, plug gap, timing? Quote
sandbum80 Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Well then there's your answer... That should have been checked prior to installing your alchohol carbs!! Quote
