I hate when you see people test big bore pipes on a stock cyl motor or small cub and then swap to a small bore pipe and say how much better it is. The big bore pipes have a place and purpose. Although there are motors out there that might throw a better number on the dyno and then in the real world suffer massive heat soak issues. So a big bore pipe or flange is sometimes a nice solution. IE, the guys with cheetahs in the dunes tend to favor the big bore pipes due to their ability to move the heat. Quote
