mike .b Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 he has put this monstrosity in his banshee he has race ported it and it runs off of 120 racing fuel triple race pipes he has done some other stuff to it but i have a hard time believing the dyno charts 150 horse off the wheel Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 Those things are junk. I highly doubt it's making 150hp. Quote
mike .b Posted February 23, 2013 Author Report Posted February 23, 2013 the old actual bike the motor used to be in used to drag a 9 Quote
NYUK Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 it was a popular conversion pre cp cylinder, very very heavy. hard to keep together, hard to find parts for, hard to keep a trans in a high strung one. Quote
4strokekiller12 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 i had one it was pretty fast then it got to much to keep up with the up keep made great hp over 150 hp had 44 mm carbs and 1972 was crazy Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 JUNK. I consistently whip on these things up north. Quote
4strokekiller12 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 a decent built stock cylinder banshee could out run one of these power to weight ratio and reeds and newer technology Quote
J-Madd Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 If it would run 4.2 in 300 ft I'd be amazed. Quote
quaddad817 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 hmmmm.... back in the late 70s the h2 750 (drag bikes) were so fast that harley davidson started the ahdra. so the dident have to race them anymore! i have done tons of reasearch and i know they cost big bucks to build! but they have there own builders and parts like we do.... no as big of aftermarket as ours... but if you wanted to build a billet cased stroker aftermarket cylinder h2 you can! the even have full billet override trannys for them... some of those fuckers put out 200-300hp and run in the 6's (quarter mile)<--------- 15.000.00 motors Quote
camatv Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 they have potential.. but so does a triple t-rex PV motor!! the big name h-2's were really really fast for the tech they were dealing with. the motor makes big HP BUT current tech has them at a cost effective barrier.. i'd personally rather spend 15,000 on a 4cyl cheetah 842.. think about that. the tech is here its doable... i personally feel that setup could destroy DM's Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 ^ I bet that guy is pretty good with the prices Quote
