shustack
Well since it doesent look like i will be getting a used over ride. I figure i better start checking info since i will be picking one up. Who cuts the nicest, who has one of the best, who has a great price. ill probably be getting a 1-4/1-5 with 6th must be duneable. Hoping for the cheetah to have some where around a 100hp. I seen the biggest thing is making sure i dont back load the fuck out of them so it lasts. Let me know what u guys think. any info or opnions are appreciated. Thanks Joe
m671054
Why override first? With 100hp wouldnt you think you could pull second that way you can coast and back load first all you want..

m671054
I like having first for the ride from camp to the hill. All depends on riding area i guess.

camatv
keep 1st.. i personally dont like "duneable" overrides but if i decided to get one of those shift fork eating transmissions i'd go with cam at redline..
shustack
keep 1st.. i personally dont like "duneable" overrides but if i decided to get one of those shift fork eating transmissions i'd go with cam at redline.. i want to keep all the gears. dont wanna get rid of any. I trail it and hill climb so the duneable will be best suited for what im shooting for.
camatv
a modified stocker is not useable? if not just get one from redline.
shustack
Any other shops? sounds like everybody uses cam at redline
Pastrykiller
The cheetah will shift with a modified stocker but will have a hard time at higher Rpm's.
RagunCajun
Is recommend a dunable n-down 1-5 over ride with no 6th. I love mine. There's no reason you need 6th when geared right. I trail ride, play around and drag race. Works like I got it 3 years ago.
camatv
my modded stocker will shift full throttle.. never let off. believe me they are not all the same....
RagunCajun
There is nothing close to an override. One you try it, you'll see why.
sprinklerman
There is nothing close to an override. One you try it, you'll see why. I have both, so i'll speak on this comment. CamAtv's "Pro Mod" isnt the "same" as an over-ride,but it gets as close as i can imagine you getting without having to worry about backloading at all. You can either barely lift and pull up to the next gear,or you can slip the clutch a touch and click up.
