trickedcarbine
Bad luck I reckon. But I really dislike how picky it is to changes. Just a slip on and it was poppin and shooting flames. Adjust needle and re-jet fixes it. K&N Air filter, runs like shit, change main jet, move needle again. Modify airbox, runs like shit, adjust mixture screw, change pilot and its fixed. Just irritated at how sensitive it is. Uhh, yeah! Same with any bike. Any time you start messing with airflow, fuel needs must also be met. No sensitivity at all. You must not understand, this is by far the most sensitive thing I have ever owned. I just got it done and it runs great now, but just a PITA. trickedcarbine
I have had a stock cylinder big bore sleeve banshee that was 440cc's on keihin PJ's...... I know temperamental. I GE your point that 4 strokes aren't supposed to need a tweak every time you decide to touch it. But that is how any bike gets once you start messing with air & fuel. HolySheet
It is possible to have a "factory freak". I'm not saying I believe it, but I'm not ruling it out.
HolySheet
even if it was this so called freak, you are forgetting something, it has a fucking rev limiter. so without changing something, ei sprockets, tires, or CDI, it wont be able to go any faster. You're right. I was forgetting about the rev limiter.
