locogato11283
There was some binding issues from the welding & like Green said adapter plate issues. I'm happy that the majority of issues, besides the cases. Have gotten fixed. The biggest problem we have now is the 90 ft. lbs. of torque! I have the same issue. Lots of gear and lots of tire. SlowerThanYou
That thing looks like a potato chip bro , nice nun the less There was plenty of negative comments on the chassis at the BAKO Sand Drags. They didn't have much to say when it started winning. The design was all Angel's idea & he was thinking outside the box. I have to admit, I wasn't on board with all of the design. Anyway, there are a few bars we are changing/adding & he did take my advice, LOL!

PaymentPlan
If this is only a 10mm motor, how come the trench goes through the cases? My 10 Cub and 10DM didn't trench through. What's the difference between these two cylinders? Mild drag and full drag?
PaymentPlan
Between a dm and cub? One is size, a 10mil cub is only 465cc http://cpindinc.com/pub/view_product/45?lm=3&name=CPI-6864LR a 10mil DM is 611cc http://cpindinc.com/pub/view_product/48?lm=3&name=0101-7864-115SA You can go super on a cub and get 521 too, is that right? n2otoofast4u
You can go super on a cub and get 521 too, is that right?Possibly. CP is VERY limited on what they are casting now. If you are considering a motor build, I would consult with a good motor builder about what's actually available.
SlowerThanYou
I'm still alive & the DMX is also. It's going into our asphalt chassis for some 1/8 mile & if we are lucky 1/4 mile testing. This is going to happen in early Sept. hope to post up some results shortly after.

We are having problems getting it to 60' on sand. Why not get it worked out on the asphalt. It worked with the 7mm, so I figured we would give it a try. It has been 3.60 @ 92 mph in 300', but have a hard time getting it to 60'.
