PWK keihin 28 carbs

I have bought a set of brand new keihin carbs. Me question is, is there a cross over tube on these carbs like stock? I see a pipe coming out of the carb on top of the intake and I wanted to know what this was. Also do i need to run tubes from all the pipes coming out of the carb? Thanks so much. Been going on this forum for a long time (3 years) and decided its time to join.

Are you talking about this brass tube? I think that's for an autolube pump line. If you have it and don't cap it, you'll have a severe air leak.

Yes it is. That line did not really make sense to me because it would be an air leak. How do I "cap" it. Thanks

Just beware of the knockoff Keihins. Some people have had problems with them. Some people say they work great. They do take a different main jet. The 1st clue of a knockoff is the steel splined looking idle speed screw like pictured here. The genuine Keihins have a black plastic speed screw. Of coarse it's always possible that someone could have changed that.

Thats just Great, something else to have to watch out for.

Something that I got from a website are:

-serial number is clear and stamped in proper

-Plastic idle screw

-Inside the float bowl there is a marking saying "pwk"

-needles will have a code as following: Letter/number/letter

-A star/"k" logo on the slide

-A star/"K" logo on the main jet
