trickedcarbine
I would really love a set of the pro pegs with the stainless peg and the aluminum heel plate for Protection from the Studded tires I run on the ice. I can't seem to find them any more though so I am looking at the newest generation of nerf from AC. The only concern I have is peg location. None of the descriptions I have found online describe the difference in location and I even called and of course the lady on the phone couldn't answer my question. bluebanshee98
I am also looking for these nerf bars with the aluminum heal guard. The first original ones where the shit! Can't find some to save the life of me. Seems every company started replacing them with all nets. Someone know of place to get them please let me know. UM made a pair just like the ac's but now its "upgraded" and has these thin lil bars instead of that big chunk of aluminum. I want that big chunk! I like the nets more, but I need the protection from studs. I'm thinking of even going -2 3/4" on my swinger next year

trickedcarbine
Problem with both of those is the aluminum peg. They are welded in and need to be constantly sharpened. The first set does look nice though.
elgoyoloco
I purchased the XFR's from ebay. Im really happy with them, they are well built with nice welds. Foot pegs are in stock location, I guess it would have been nice if they were a little lower and set back. Its a little tight with a size 13 riding boot. I put a Hammerhead extended shift lever tip on for extra room. Overall nice product. Some pics mounted. http://i1305.photobucket.com/albums/s556/gregjune/banshee/IMG_0133_zps4f44542a.jpg http://i1305.photobucket.com/albums/s556/gregjune/banshee/IMG_0132_zps1b984960.jpg http://i1305.photobucket.com/albums/s556/gregjune/banshee/IMG_0207_zpsb86cc1cc.jpg
bluebanshee98
When you kick start the bike do you have to use your heal? Or the normal middle part of your foot? Looks like its tight in that area where the kicker goes down
elgoyoloco
Definitely heel kick. You get used to it pretty quick. Thankfully banshees are easy to start.
trickedcarbine
I like those XFR nerfs. But I need lower pegs for riding with boots in the winter on the ice
camatv
i dont know if they fit with a lockup i dont know why they wouldnt?
jbooker82
I just didnt know if the foot peg would be to tall or close. I had to round and smooth out my factory foot peg, but I guess I could grind down and round part of the peg that is directly under the cover. Not like I would be standing on it any way. trickedcarbine
I don't think there are any clearance issues. The last generation had the pegs relocated back and down. I even called AC and some lady answered and just had no clue what to say when I asked her about the peg location
