bansheedemon
i guess the point that is being missed here. is i know the person who built it so i can get a full build sheet on it. just have to go talk to him. and fyi i wait til taxes to just buy the damn thing out right and not having to worry about it. i dont keep 1200 bucks around just to buy a quad. i dont have all the info on it. so i apologize. i was just looking for some feedback on other peoples builds to just get a rough eatimate of what potential there is for it. not exact numbers. i was just curious about what other people did to theirs and what kind of gains they got. so if you just want to be an ass or smartass thanks for your input but seriously grow up...... im not trying to confuse people with what is informatioj not relevant but trying to describe how i can track down how it was built. i will post pics and build sheet when i get them. thanks. Man, a lot of you new guys lately have been sensitive sally's. You need to realize something right quick. You came on here asking for information without giving any information, then kept trying to justify your lack of information by proclaiming that you KNOW the guy put the "good stuff" on it. Well, what he considers the "good stuff", might (likely) not actually be good stuff. Seeing something described on BansheeHQ as "racing carbs", and "racing clutch", immediately gets made fun of. Also, are they aftermarket big bore cylinders? Or just stock cylinders bored over? You have contradicted yourself. If they are simply bored stock cylinders, unless they were bored and sleeved to a much larger size, you didn't gain any noticeable power by them being bored. Typically when stock cylinders reach 66mm, they are considered junk without proper sleeving done. Additionally, why do you want a number on power? If the horsepower number is relevant to whether or not you purchase the bike, I would suggest taking it to a reputable shop with a dyno, and have it dynoed prior to your purchase. You need to understand the amount of knowledge here is vast. If you want specific answers, you need to ask specific questions. The question you asked is simply unanswerable. There are literally hundreds of thousands of motor combinations out there, and with descriptors such as "racing carbs" you won't get an answer remotely close to accurate. What size carbs? What manufacturer? What is the jetting? What is your compression? What fuel are you running? What is the air temperature at the time of dyno? <--- Those among thousands of other questions will get you SORT OF in the right direction with a horsepower guess, but even still, it's just a guess. bansheedemon
i dunno. i guess i just dont know what questions to ask. i put the info i know which isnt much atm. im not huge on forums, but figured since im new to banshees and 2-strokes id give it a shot. i was all 4 stroke prior but could never get thats speed i wanted without dropping way too much money into a project. my preddy was fun but it got old too quick. not enough power there, i always want more. so i wanted something i can build to my liking and with yhe sheer amount of mods and thinhs you can do to them a banshee was a no brainer. im not all that sensitive, just not big on being talked down to as such like a moron. and your right there is a ton of knowledge here. but when someone seeks it even asking vague question a little respect would be appreciated. im new, i dont know much, but im willing to take the knowledge. its just new for me and im not quite sure what to ask as far as a 2-stroke. so im a little slow. lol.
