bansheedemon
alright so im moving from an 03 predator lightly modded and am buying a banshee. i found a great deal on what i would consider fairly heavily modded banshee. im looking at an 04 with a big bore kit, custom heads ported and polished, good reeds and spacers, racing carbs, upgraded clutch, pro circuit exhaust(i think), nerf bars, custom plastics and seat, extended swing arms and a arms, beadlock rims with holeshot tires, handle bar risers, upgraded ignition system. what do you guys think it would put out roughly? how trailable is it? and also i do a lot of hill clumbing and some racing for fun. i have ridden it and its fast as hell. just looking for input on power output and top end speed possibly. and any other input you may have. sorry i dont have specific part brands, and there is more done that im forgetting. thanks. bansheedemon
its my cousin. and my dads best friend built it for his daughter. its all there i know. i just dont know what all the mods add up too. i wouldnt believe it off craigslist or something. but i do know the guy wgo built it. i just dont know brands. its modded well and has good brand parts i know. i just dont know what all the mods combined add up to power wise. and i have nothing to conpare it too except my old predator that a banshee would beat stock anyways. i know the banshee pulls WAY harder than my pred ever could have dreamed of pulling

Starwriter
Post some pics. Unless it's a total beat to crap, POS, $1200 is a steal for it.
bansheedemon
its not. its been babied since completely ground up rebuilt. the girl was afraid to drive the damn thing the way its meant to be driven. everything on it has less than 10 hours on it. and only like 3 tanks of gas through rebuilt motor. i have ridden it. all it needs is the carbs cleaned cause they never rode it hard enough to keep out crap build up. its crisl through all gears and will ride a wheelie through 4-5th gear. pops wheelies in 3rd if you actually get on it. bansheedemon
i know the guy who built it. i kbow he put good stuff in it i just cant think of brands and such off the top of my head. im going to try and get a part list here though just cause i wanna know and ill post it for you guys to check out. the guy just rebuilt it about 3 hrs of runtime ago. and the restof the work has maybe 10 hours on it. regardless though i know it runs and drives and shifts excellent so its worth at least the 1200 i can get it for. bansheedemon
i wish i could buy it now. waiting for taxes damnit. lol. but he is family so he will save it for me. he is a dirtbike guy and got the banshee for his gf and it scares the hell out if her so she got a warrior. i know the whole motor was redone and bored to either 378 or 399. i cant remeber right now. it has cool heads on it and its domed differently. but not sure on specs. but its plenty fast enough for me. i havent gotten the damn thing out of third gear in the small field they have. sandbum80
?? First your cousins sisters brother built it for his daughter, now the guy bought it for his g/f!? If you have to wait for you taxes to buy a 1200$ banshee, maybe you should put the money in the bank and save it.
