i did state it clearly that it wouldnt be that hard to port. its the area and size of enlarging ports thats a concern.

dont let enybody stop you from doing whatever! ive changed pistons on my rm85! painted my car with 2 pac! design and made a rear bar body kit from fibre glass! 1st time playing with fibreglass too! plastic weld, crash pad on cars for airbags ect! built my own computer from scrach! took out and replace fuel pump on diesel forklift! built a shed! change timing belt, crank seals, on my car! engine swap! tattooing! waiting for an gsx wreck bike so i could pop the engine into my yzf450 rolling chassic! just because i can! cus i want! cus i could! ect ect ect ect kinda out of ideas! atm iam getting ready to rip my banshee engine apart in the near future for the 1st time ever! IF THEY CAN DO IT! SO CAN U! enybody want prove me wrong!?!

from every corner to every street. money is power! knowledge is power!

in my opinion. porting wouldnt be that hard. i have cham. knife edge my rm85. its not that hard. the only thing i would be concern is knowing were to widen or extends the ports. in what place. ect.

I agree with self porting as a hobbie, I have invested close to 10k in all my porting stuff. Mainly my 7k compressor. I've been porting since day 2 when I first got my quad I tore the top end off, talk about a mess of a port job. Lol I was 9 or 10, 23 now and still learning daily. When some of these builders offer ANY kind of advice take it and write it down because there sharing not only personal experience but proven techniques.

And for the guy that said something about 2pac changed his fuel pump while tattooing 50cent I get what your saying just a "odd" way of putting it. Could of just said...

I do all my own mechanical work. Lol jk

And I agree with Tyler (I think he said it) 100% if your porting to save money then your wrong and ass backwards. It's costly and time consuming. And your not going to hit the nail on the head the first time... All the "pro builders" did start somewhere but it's also been YEARS of trial and error and testing.

couplex go fk yourself! wanker!

i knife edge and cleaned some of the ports on my rm 85. the thing lifts a bit in 1st and 2nd just by pinning the throtle. but that could be due to the piston kit i installed tho. eeehhh. who knows.

The first port job I payed for was the reason I started porting! I payed a visit to the shop to see what the status of my cylinders were and to ask him some questions how to jet when he was finished. I walk in the shop and there was an 8 ball scattered on the counter beers everywhere and when I asked him my port type he said all I need to know is "I take metal out ,a lot of metal" but there was o tupac he was listening to biggie
