turbowrenchhead
I got it out on Sunday for a couple of hours. There wasn't enough tread to run ice screws so I didn't bother. I went out with 3 of my friends and there 4 strokes. It was 18 degrees out and none of there bikes started. Mine did, and I pull started the first guy to get them going. Traction on the lake sucked. The bike hits the power band and spins like crazy. It was too hard to tell how it was performing. I ran it for maybe a total of an hour just to get some time on it. We did ride on a couple of islands so I was able to feel how it rode and it rode really nice. When I got home I did a small street run up to 3rd gear and let off. I don't want to piss off my neighbors. Its boggy till the power band comes on, when it does it pulls really hard, feels like a turbo kicking in. BLOODRAGE
did you do a rejet for the better air flow? yeah it would be hard to tell the performance when your spinning out all the time. best example i can give is my first clean up port job when i first bought my banshee for 3k.first thing i did was pull the top end off and cleaned the ports up and polished the exhaust.i had procircuits and 15/41 sprockets with 20in tires.020 bore with stock style pistons.my bro's banshee was 040 no port work same sprockets and tires he had fmf fattys.and guess what...id whoop his ass to the point where i thought he was only letting me win.he was trying hard but it was neck in neck and my shee would come out on top every time

turbowrenchhead
did you do a rejet for the better air flow? I have it jetted by the input I got on this board. I have to do a proper plug chop yet. I don't have access to somewhere that I can do that. I have to wait till we go on an atv trip up north. registered user
theres a right angle attachment for dremels but ive never used it so it might be to bulky to fit in the cylinder. also a flex shaft for the dremel that works pretty good. maybe keep a eye on ebay for used foredom stuff. hardest part is finding the 90* tool for cheap. The tread height doesn't matter when studding tires if they are just play tires. Just use good 1" studs or the quad will just throw them. You need then to go through the whole tire to keep them in. Just a warm up lap on my first outing this year, it hooks up on glare smooth ice. http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc441/trickedcarbine/6F4A2B5D-6107-4935-9BD8-2F26153DD102-9581-00000F4E6CA57CC0.mp4
turbowrenchhead
I don't know how much longer we will be able to go out on the ice this yet. The weather has been so up and down. Yesterday it was 45 and sunny. Today its 15 with a stiff wind. I pulled my plugs today and they are black, so I know I'm not lean, thats good in my eyes. Being overly rich will create overheating issues as well.....

Coupelx
I did my current cylinders over 3 years of testing changes along with hours and hours of reading. Watching some video or write up is shit. How the fuck can you understand what you are doing without understanding the theories in play? I have more in tools than the price of a good port. It was fun and i learned alot while ending up with a bike that runs very well. I may do another set some day but i decided that wildcard would be doing my cheetah.
