JAGeSage
if I bought the Vitos timing key which is +4 degrees, and an adjustable timing plate, how far could I set the timing plate and still be able to run on premium gas? (93) Thanks in advance
tsharktim
Just get the adjustable timing plate, it will go up to 10 degrees either way. And I think +4 is the limit on pump gas
oldskool
Man, don't use the degree key and timing plate. Just get the timing plate and set it at +4( Do use your stock woodruff key)

Starwriter
do +10 with that +4 key. you will be fine Next Redline dyno day, I'm wanna do this. Build a junk motor with spare parts. Make cuts in the rods to weaken them. Put in 14+ degrees of advance with 18cc domes on regular gas. Sell raffle tickets with your guess of how much time from peak RPM to destruction, for $1 each. Closest guess gets 1/2 the pot. Motor builder gets the other 1/2.
