Yamahopper10
Ok the motor mount bushings in my upper case are roached, therefore I am attempting to replace them. I've tried tapping them out with a screwdriver and hammer with no luck. Im attaching a picture so you guys can see what I am talking about, and hopefully someone has a better method of doing this. Thanks The file was too big to upload so here is a link to it on photobucket. http://s1097.beta.photobucket.com/user/Yamahopper10/media/bansheecasebushing_zps526c3a93.jpg.html

sleeper06
I have pressed them in b4 but when I didn't have a press I put a relief cut with my porting tool a lil heat and tapped it ,put the new one in with heat and vise,I also froze the bushings for 24 hrs
mailman
You can do it yourself. I replaced them on my cases and they came out perfect. The hammer and heat need to be put away. I just bought a long piece of threaded rod and found a socket that fit the outside of the bushing, them put a nut and some washers on the all thread and tightened the socket against the bushing. Pretty much a poor man's press. Take your time and use common sense.
