Nightmare
I talked to John today and asked him if he ever sold a set of chrome shearers for 400 bucks and he said a few years he sold a few sets for 450 but they were used. WINDYCITYJOHN400
Dumb is thinking that in the information age, that people don't have the ability to reach out and contact the major players in your story. (John Safarian and Mat Shearer) I have this amazing tool that I can use to post here on HQ.....I also can use it to surf the internet.....it's my phone. Know what else it works good for?........Yeah...USING AS A PHONE! So as I said before....post up your invoice from Blue Sky Industries for $400 NEW for 3 sets of chrome shearer pipes....or stop talking out your ass. It's one thing to post about something and others think differently about it. But it's completely different to pull shit out of the blue sky and post it......then follow it up by talking out your ass so much that your asshole needs chapstick. [ YOU DID NOT BUY NEW PIPES FOR $400 ] End of story.

possum
Exactly lilstvn, I dont get it. I looked through my receipts and found nothing. Now that I think about it. I dont even think I got a receipt. I went to his house and he opened his garage which was like 30+ ft tall and he must of had atleast 30-40+ boxes of pipes stacked up. Maybe more, so he pulls a few down. I open them up and look at them to make sure all is there. So I pay him the cash. And I say thanks have a nice day. That is exactly what went down. locogato11283
It's pretty obvious what's wrong with the mounting points on Shearer's pipes. Hell, I've seen it on the in-frames too. That single bracket coming straight off the pipe just creates a breaking point in the thin metal of the pipe. It would be nice to see a piece added that spans wider area to fix the issue. Those of you who saw the out-frame Snipers on Gary's bike at the BHQ Ride know what I am talking about. Those mounts are nice.

joee20002
The welds on my pipes look good. I wish the mounting was stronger but whatever. Are those welds straight from shearer? Or did they break and you re-welded them? ya its been re welded over 30 times on both pipes... after about 10 times of rewelds the area around the brackets are thin and crispy... but i fixed the problem! trickedcarbine
It should be noted that the fix required a trip out to Howell Michigan for Rob to fabricate some new pipes ; )
