soccer4orlife
I have a 89 banshee, tore down the motor at the end of season last year and built up a 421 serval. Put the bike back together, couldn't get a spark. Bought a new cdi, new ignition/coils, new stator, and another harness. Still no spark. I can't figure it out. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

WaynokaBanshee
Do you still have you're toes hooked up? If you do eliminate them and unplug them.

tecate3matt
X0303043 on the key for sure. I was looking around like a mad man when I couldn't get any spark with my banshee the other day. It was a wire under the little boot of the key tumbler, soldered it back on... came over on the first kick.
soccer4orlife
Well I went through everything again, checked all grounds everything seems fine, just waiting on the new on/off/headlight switch. I also forgot to mention the on/off key switch was removed by previous owner and soldered together.
soccer4orlife
Well guys I got exhausted replacing parts and tired of countless hours of trying to make what I had work. Took the motor out, threw it in spare frame, spliced the stator into the harness (different plugs), and boom! SPARK!!!!!!! So I guess my harness was bad and the spare harness was bad. Should have the shee up and running tomorrow. Again thanks to everyone for there advice. Cheers
