JAGeSage
Tors is the throttle override system. It looks like a box on top of the carbs. What year is the machine, what mods a behind it, if any. I would recommend a compression check to star. How hard were you on it when it died? cubinzkid
About mid top-end, but it died so suddenly it was like someone flicked the kill switch. I have carb spacers, aftermarket reeds, and Toomey racing needles in the carbs. That everything in the intake. And twin k&n's.
JAGeSage
D you havegood spark? Ty changing plugs, and flip plug wires, check coils, make sure nothing came loose, then test stator,id start with plugs and wires, also compression. cubinzkid
Alrighty. I know my compression is good, and I held my plug against my head and kicked it and I had spark. Does the knobs ontop the tors, correlate with ignition?
JAGeSage
Well first, are the wires connected for the tors? If they are cut and taped that is fine, if they are connected, unplug thebasterds. They are worthless.
JAGeSage
As fir e flatbead knobs, the correlate with the idle on the carb, im not sure if you know what thew tors does, its the throttle over ride system, it stops your throttle from mbeing able to stick open, and is one of the few major flaws in the banshee. The go bad or short then it stops your motor from running right.
