Z400Banshee
I just bought a chrome clutch cover with a new bearing and seal installed. I also have a new chariot ultra high flow impeller that I tried to install but when I put the impeller shaft in the bearing, it just spun in the bearing. I loosened the bearing up and it spins a lot more freely than what it did but it still just spins in the bearing race. Looking for ideas to fix it

Z400Banshee
The impeller shaft is spinning inside the bearing and the bearing is not turing at all.
Starwriter
Sounds like either crud in the bearing or somehow the inner race is mashed up against the seal. The bearing should spin freely. The gear is going to put some side load on it, but it sounds like the bearing is dragging too much. You're gonna have to do some investigative work on your own to determine why it's not spinning easily.
