CFH87
Who's running one and what's your set up carbs, swing arm, and pipes?
dirtydownunder
Man. It's just a bike, not a life decision. Haha. What do you even wanna do with it. Servals are pretty lazy, with stock timings. Shearer, tm 34, ported, +4 swinger. Maybe 22cc domes. Pump fuel.
locogato11283
I won the 0-450cc 2-stroke class at the National hillclimb on RJD's 421 Serval motor. That set up was 35mm PWK, Rockets and a +8 swingarm. It was solid. It pulled my 22" cut tires with 15/41 easily. If I was going to build a play bike it would be a 4 or 10mm Serval with the same pipes and carbs with a +4 or +6 swingarm.

dozer
Mine was a 421 serval, 35 pwks, sb inframe shearers and a +6 swingarm. Entire setup came from jeff at f.a.s.t. Absolute blast in the dunes and ran on 91 octane.

special06shee
This is my personal and best opinion for you or anyone. Ive had ss motors, 4mil motors, and know have a 10mil BEAST! If your gonna build a motor just do a 10mil whatever! I will never build anything again unless its a 10mil or bigger! Id even build a 10mil for trail riding! The TQ of a 10mil is ungodly over a 4mil!
