turbowrenchhead
There are so many choices out there its overwhelming. I heard that guys like Klotz because it smells different. Some guys like Amzoil. What are ppl's favorite?
alexardoin
I've run Klotz Benol and Klotz R-50. I liked the smell of Benol mixed with C12 better so I use that instead. But any Klotz oil is good oil. People like some other brands as well. IDK about other oils but the Klotz oils are all red so you know that your fuel is mixed because it changes the color of it. Just stick to well known brands. They're more expensive than your Wal-Mart special but they are much higher quality. Klotz, Amsoil, etc. Everyone has their favorite brand and ratio. Just stick to quality oils and either 32:1 or 40:
wfobasheeboy
I run the amsoil dominator oil. I have run it in this motor at 50.1 for over year now and still running strong and comp is still at 165psi in each CYL. Here is a link to it. http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/motor-oil/2-stroke/dominator-2-cycle-oil/ Just my two cents

turbowrenchhead
Does anyone run more the 50:1? I run 64:1 on my blaster for a couple of seasons now with good results. Just had the jug off last fall and all looks good.
trickedcarbine
Maxima castor 927 if it's warmer, but for ice season I run the Amsoil Dominator to ecause the castor stuff of any brand will separate at freezing temps.
Finch
ya on benol it even says dont use under 32 degrees i did any way last year when it was way below that would just always mix it before i put it in. but deff a bad idea
sheerider1026
I have ran amsoil dominator @ 50:1 for over 10 years. Never an issue and motors always hold up great. Very clean

hoppedupandcutdown
I like the 927 also, sure wish that it had some color in it to be able to tell if my jug has been mixed or not.
