troyzstang
This ones for the veterans. Just curious about wheel placement on a JJ & A drag axle. What benefits / results are gained by sliding the wheels closer to the sprocket / brake assembly. Thanks guys Troy
Paulie B
You know I ain't no veteran and as Windy would tell me I'm just guessing lol I'm saying it gives better weight distribution over the tires. If I had an adjustable axel I'd get offset rims and flip them around just to make it look cooler haha

#1JUANstunna
I personally like mine as close together as possible to get the tires under my little ass for the traction. It makes it a little more unstable in a wheelie but its not that big of a deal.

When we go to 300' sand we spread them out for a more stable/predictable run. The asphalt width is not safe for sand. We could go narrower on asphalt, but it gets to a point where less width becomes a safety factor.
