KINGpimp
Pros vs cons I guess is what I meant lol
dirtydownunder
long rods were used to give the piston/rod a greater dwell time at TDC/BDC so the piston has a longer transition from upstroke to down stroke. meaning less load/stress on the piston and bore. pro is long rond con is short rod. KINGpimp
Ever run blaster pistons?
dirtydownunder
running em in my 421, but thats because its how it comes in the kit. blaster piston has different squish band angle/size. you wouldnt use them in a stock cylinder unless ya builder setup ya motor for it. i think the smallest a blaster comes in, is 66mm. crazycracker520
If your thinking of getting a long rod crank might as well go with a 4mill LR stroker. crazycracker
