jayhawkatv
I see a ton of ppl running spindle mount wheels nowdays. I know they look 10x better and are lighter, but are they worth the money and how much do they actually help on shaving weight? Especially since 50% of the ppl Ihave seen still run front brakes. Finch
ive never seen brakes on spindle mounts, and if ya have to ask prolly not worth it that would be one of the last things id to to shave weight.
SlowerThanYou
Hmmm, We run spindle mounts with brakes. Plus, they saved a good amount of weight!
springer
they do make at least one spindle mount with the ability to mount a rotor to, can't remember which one, but most dont. i think most do it for looks or just because, but weight savings would be a benefit too. but thinking about it, you don't HAVE to have spindle mounts to not run front brakes, so you can't fairly add that into the savings. i would be curious how much lighter a set of stock lightened hubs like wheelman does with some buffed fronts on douglas blue labels would be over some spindle mounts. jayhawkatv
Shit thats kinda what I was thinkin. But how much can one lighten stock front hubs? Hell might as well just ditch the front brakes and call it good.
