Dispicablemee
i have checked everything possible and cant figure it out. just ordered new reeds to replace old ones not sealing well. any info would be great. yes i have searched this great site for all related issues. carbs super clean, both coil leads have strong spark. bike ran great then sat for 4 years. i just changed the carbs to another set of factory with the TORS eliminator cables. i have like to youtube video on my sig. wfobasheeboy
I would start with a compression test. Sat for 4yr I would think maybe stuck rings.
oldskool
Don't think this is your problem, but if you deleted the tors you need to unplug the brain(??). Its the small box under gas tank on far left side.
Jereme6655
Next time you get the bike together swap spark plug boots to see if the problem will follow the plug wire. This will eliminate whether it is a problem with fuel or electrical....
Dispicablemee
thx to all replies. i did un plug tors brain, i did swap plug wires and plugs same thing. today i took off cylinders to inspect them and pistons and rings. everything looks great hardly any wear and top end was done 6 years ago. i ordered new reeds. i strongly beleive that the right cylinder reed is leaking and flooding chamber. i did look at reeds today and i can see a gap on them not sealed closed. last but not least left cyl comp 120 psi and right 115 psi. let you all know when reeds arrive. Shaunisheep
Hey, this may not be helpful towards your problem, but i had a similar thing happen to my banshee where i was getting spluttering coming out of 1 cyclinder, turns out all the problem was the woodruff key was a little loose and wasnt keeping the magneto spinning perfectly straight , may be worth a check maybe it corroded a bit after sitting thier for 4 years? Larry's Shee
I had to clean the rust off the timing lugs on outside of flywheel and pole on stator to cur my miss. Also set gap @ pickup. ONLY use Banshee flywheel puller.

Dispicablemee
ok went thru carbs again and slides correct for each side. floats fine. did notice one jet wrong and also found out springs on idle screws too long. prevented idle screw from touching slide. got both cylinders firing and seems good. test drive. no powerband . new reeds not in yet? suggestions. bansheefromhell
should hit the powerband in every gear "powerband" is just the rpm range where you make the most power
