Glenyboy
It'll take ages for them to be sent back to china.
Trick2stroke
It's not a big deal to me, I'll either get it worked out or send them back for a refund.
VoOK
I dont see the issue, just looks like the vent hoses are touching.
James_21
If its the hose like stated above, un-hook one and loop it through the other on then hook it back up. Looking at the pics that all it seems to be. Just my opinion
Trick2stroke
If you notice in the picture the carb is not lined up nor is it pushed into the boot. When fully seated the brass fittings the vent lines attach to will be trying to occupy the same space. If they had a sleeker or shorter fitting for the inside vent lines it wouldn't be a problem. Trick2stroke
Spoke with Corey just a little while ago, the issue is the large brass fittings are where the "tip valves" are to keep the carb from flooding when used on a dirt bike where it's laid over and flipped occasionally. He's sending me the plain barbed fittings to replace them with so they will no longer stick out as far, the carbs they run on their banshee's do not have the tip valves so they hadn't run across this problem yet. n2otoofast4u
So you are being the guinea pig with these carbs having the "tip valve"??
Trick2stroke
On the banshee I guess so, I don't mind.
sheerider11
Hmm, well what if this thing leans out your bike and it explodes? Or goes dumb rich and explodes? Or just all around explodes directly related to a carb issue?
Trick2stroke
lol somehow I don't think anything will be "exploding." I pulled the check valve fittings and they fit just fine. Corey also sent a couple pics of the carbs fitted to their pikes peak 500 cheetah.
