Hi I bought my banshee a little bit back with a fmf gold series head pipe and power core2 silencers and it also had a pro flow adapter and filter but stock jets. It was running on the lean side. I ordered a fmf power up kit I didn't see it was stage 3 but found out obviously it was very rich. Was at 280 main dynojet needle on the 4th clip from the top and 1.5 out air screw with stock pilot. Very very boggy down low because it kept loading up. Plugs were soaked and black. I got more toys in the meantime and rejet so curious if I'm in the ballpark before I plug chop run it.

2000 banshee stock gearing 300ft.

Fmf gold/powercore2

Pro flow adapter/ foam filter

ehs airbox lid mod

Shaved stock head .30 by fast

+4* timing

280 mains

Dynojet needles 3rd clip

30 pilots

Air screw 1.5 out

new br8es plus more for when I chop

How does it look like I should be doing? All info is greatly appreciated. New to carb toys lol and wanted to get opinions to get close before I chop and fine dial it in

Thanks

Eric

First off, don't waste your time with a plug chop. You can tune the bike simply by doing wide open throttle plug checks.

I would try a 270 main and 27.5 pilot. Leave the clip in the middle of the needle.

I would put the stock needles back in. There is nothing wrong with them.

Once you've got your main jet correct, then adjust your air screw accordingly.
