What's to stop a seller from posting fake pictures?

More pictures are no cure for anything.

The bottom line is that only trusted sellers should be trusted.

True. Obviously there is no "cure",,and a buyer/sellers BEST solution is to only deal with those whom they know to be trusted.

But i see no harm in mandatory pictures to weed out the laziest of the dishonest sellers.

selling parts should only be for people who been here a while. fuck a noob. a year and 500 post would cut out the scammer who just pops in to rip someone off. if u buy parts off someone who cannot be vouched for u deserve what u get.

So am I supposed to enforce this mandatory picture thing?

Sounds like pure laziness and ignorance on the buyer's part.

Why should I mandate something that is the buyer's responsibility to get themselves?

Damn 500 post before you can sell parts, that's pretty harsh! I'm a noob, I've been holding out on selling parts until I get to know people on here, I've bought a couple thousand dollars worth of parts off this site since I've joined and haven't had a problem yet. I'm ready to unload some parts now that I'm about to upgrade, so should I not even bother posting them without being here for years or having a high post count?

This thread is very discouraging for someone like me that's getting ready to sell stuff.

It wasn't a failure, it was that a bunch of whining ass people wouldn't stop bitching cuz they didn't have their post count.

500 posts are a little crazy but something needs changed. I don't have a solution so I'm not going to bitch, much.

You say tomato, I say failure.

We had 100 guys running up their post count to use the for sale section. I'm not doing that again.
