All u need to do to figure it out is factor in what kind of riding, drag or sand. If all u do is drag, then u would go with the smooth buff. If your doin trails u would get a ribbed tire. If u do both get a ribbed tire because it helps with turning. It's not a mystery when it comes down to choosing a tire for a specific type of riding. I like to drag and mess around so i guess id rather have a tire thats in between those two so mohawk????? Correct me if im wrong.
