Joejr915 Posted November 15, 2012 Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 those guys running stock ignition for drag racing whats your setup? i thought about tring a stock ignition this year instead of pvl. i want to try a launch limiter. what for cdi(dyna msd or stocK),coil,stator flywheel(cut or uncut), And where do you guys get your adjustable clutch lever switch at? n2otoofast4u Posted November 15, 2012 Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 ALL OEM (you can use an AC coil but Im going to guess you wont need to worry about that) any OEM bike that has electric start will have a switched clutch lever. The adjustable is the only way to go. I think we got ours at MTC or Pingle can't remember. There's a certain way to adjust them for best 60'. If they get out of wack they cause all kinds of 60' issues (not good)! This subject will come up later in the lock-up/clutch tuning thread. The pic is for a RM250? Sorry, there are guys using this set-up on their Banshees with the stock cdi. I have no idea how to wire it for the Banshee. I guess I didn't pay attention to the diagram. So we have either white/red stripe or white/green stripe. I would say call Dyna, but there customer service SUCKS! The couldn't tell me how to wire in their shift kill/counter to our banshee.
