airbox lid

So I'm running airbox with no lid right now. Main is 270, needle 2nd notch from top. 2 turns out on air screws.

It's not perfect, I think I need a 260 main. Runs good, but bogs down after having a load on it for a bit.

My airbox seems to get lots of sand in it, and filter gets filthy after one trip. so I'm thinking I might put lid on. If so how many sizes you think I should expect. I think I should go to a 240... Think I'm close, or is it going to make these pipes run like dog shit?

Shit, thought I mentioned that. Cpi inframes. Bike is mostly stock other than that. Elevation is 5k.

I'm close on the jetting, well its proly perfect now that its 35 degrees.

Main question is whether putting the lid on and going down a few sizes is gonna make it ultra shitty. I'm not a racer, just dune.... and my filter is getting filthy, seems like it'd run better if it could stay clean
