Tony M
Well here in minnesota its gonna be cold till next may... And well the shee is running odd. Now the warmest of days are gonna be no warmer than 50 degrees. I need alittle help picking out new jets. Last weekend it started popping and hesitating in mid range, I took it out for a quick 5 min run once it was warmed up. The banshee has the following done to it High comp domes (150psi) Open air box with filter Toomy T6 high Rev pipes Currently the main jet is 280 and i dont know what the pilot Where is a good place to start here for 40 degree weather or so, 310? and do i change the pilot? So Cal Suspension
I'd go at least 310's, maybe 320's, 27.5. You will probably end up at 300, and 27.5, but 310-320 will get you close. Better to be rich than lean.
tt_bansheerida
after you change the main jets and pilots you may need to change the position of your clips on the slide needles going down with the clip will allow more fuel in the mid range going towards the top of the needle it will have less fuel through the mid range
Tony M
Thanks man! I just wanted someone to confirm my guess around 310 was close
TWILES
I live close to Paducah, ky. Elevation is like 500 and I've always ended up quite a bit richer than everyone says it should be. If 280's are good in the summer, you'll end up raising the needle and guarrentied going with 300 mains
Tony M
Ok guys you have helped me out so far but now that i have everything installed im having problems running. I have 310 mains and 25 or 26 pilots and the needle is set on the 2nd up clip and the air to fuel mixture screw right now is 1 1/2 turns out The banshee will run but eventually it will idle down and die and bliping the throttle will sometimes make it worse and it will die quicker. When driving it will do the same thing it will be going fine and then it will just seem like it runs out of gas. Next thing is that from idle to low mid range its really boggy and takes alitlle bit to get going/moving and sometimes it wont move at all unless you rev it up and then engage the clutch. What should i do next
