amado814
Anyone ever hear of ne brand super gaskets?? I don't want to use them if they're no good , can't seem to find any feedback on them at all. If all else fails it might be safer to stick with what's tried and true . Thanks for the feedback

dave5.0
There's a bunch if variables to think about. Some if the cheaper gaskets can be ok. Stock motor? Ported cylinders? Cases port matched? Clutch gaskets are pretty run of the mill. Yamaha ones do have a nice silicone bead at the case joints. Base gaskets will depend on the cylinder you are using and if there's any porting. Crappy paper ones can work on plain ol untouched stockers with thick walls. I prefer the composite metal/rubber ones myself. Don't have to worry about those blowing out. I've made intake gaskets out of cereal boxes and the rolls of crap material you can buy at parts stores. So just depends on what part of the motor you're sealing. I'm not a big fan of most kits. I usually pick and choose what I use.
amado814
Cases and jugs ported, cool head , 4 mil . Sounds like I should play it safe and just spend the money on a tried and true gasket brand . No sense of having money in the engine and run sub par gaskets . I'll stick with the cometics

I'd call your builder and see what they recommend
