Mighty Shee Posted January 16, 2013 Report Share Posted January 16, 2013 If those Elka shocks are not valved/set up for your riding style and weight they may not be good for you. Even at half price. When people buy NEW shocks the manufacturer will build them for your weight and riding style to maximize the performance of the shocks. Check the serial numbers on the shocks and call the manufacturer to make sure you know what they are set up for (rider weight, riding style, etc.).
