coryv4
what would be a good starting point for 20-40F degree weather 400ft elevation cpi oofs on a 421 serval i am using a single mikuni 38tm flat slide. i have never ran the motor on gas, in winter, and with a single carb. i am using a single because its my only gas carb that i have. i know 20-40F degrees is a jump in temp but i am hoping to have it jetted damn near good for 20F and a little rich for 40F. trickedcarbine
Out of frames, single carb, serval? Huh....... Please tell me you just had a pile of parts laying around. But I would highly reccomend a 440 Exciter manifold for any 2/1 set up and it would honestly outflow way more then any "banshee" 2/1 manifold. As for the jetting, your set up is a little unique but I'd imagine you will be in the range of 380/390 main with a 35 pilot. Maybe a 32.5 pilot

coryv4
Why not get a cub? i built a turbo serval because it was reccomended by a company for a turbo because the low port timing would help with turbo spool, this thread is not about why the fuck i baught a serval i just wanted a simple guidline not play 20 fucking questions. Finch
lol cory why did ya get a turbo if you not gonna run it?
coryv4
lol cory why did ya get a turbo if you not gonna run it? i dont feel safe running gas with boost and it would be pointless to run alky in the winter if i could even get it to start. i just want to run it like this in the winter so i have somthing to ride in the cold when there is little to no snow.
