Blanky86
I went and looked at this 2002 Yamaha Banshee. It has FMF Gold Series Pipes and K&N Air filter comes with knobbies and extra set of rims. The guy also showed me all recipets from about a week ago of getting carbs cleaned, suspension lubed, oil changed and plugs changed. He wants 2450 for it. I also made a video of it idling tell me what you think?

dunesovertrails
I'm assuming you weren't able to drive it because of sand paddles and dont buy it without driving
Man-O-Steele
looks clean overall and sounds good. go for it!
Starwriter
It is very clean looking, but I wouldn't buy it. These days, if you look around, you can find one with $3K to $5K worth of aftermarket goodies for somewhere between $2,200 and $2,800. I look for deals that are good enough that if it blows up, worst case, you can part it out and make a profit. Even if it's not set up quite the way you want, you can always sell aftermarket goodies and buy other parts.
Blanky86
The guy put the knobbies on it for me, and I rode it this morning. I made the purchase ended up getting it for 2,000. The guy through in gas jug, helmet, gloves too. I feel good about the deal, and am looking forward to taking it out Thanksgiving.

Starwriter
Not bad. Good job on getting him down to a realistic price. It is a clean bike to start building on. Now you need to think about splitting the cases and having the crank trued and welded before it separates. With stock compression and timing, it will probably be OK for awhile, but you never know.
