I am running the stock carbs with tors 340 main jets, 27.5 pilot jets, stock needle on 3rd clip with k/n clamp on filters and 100LL avgas at sea level and runs really good. Motor mods HJR dune/play port, weisco prolite .020 over pistons, stock stroke, noss head 19cc domes, 6 degree timming advance, vforce 3's, lighten flywheel, toomey T5's making bout 63hp. What all do I need to buy? Will the 28pwk's fit my stock intake boots? Can I still use the k/n pods from my stock carbs? What do I do with the TORS? What jetting(mains, pilots, and needles would I need to use in the pwk's to match the jetting of the stockers? I want to keep using my thumb throttle. Coupelx Posted October 30, 2012 Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 Stock boots will work. Filters should but it might be tight. As for jetting probably start with a 140 main and 40 pilot. I ran the lgn needle i think with t5 pipes. Disconnect the tors box by the coil and throw away. Use a cable for stock carbs WITHOUT tors. The reason I want to change is because my stock carbs keep leaking uel around the bowel gaskets. Just put new gaskets on and sprayed them with copper sealent and they still leak.
