sheerider11
im confused i was told that i could use ordinary cool head domesNo. 4 mm of extra strok. 2 up and 2 down. Your piston would smash the head. So a builder will cut new domes with a recess for the piston and new angle/band/cc for your setup. Pipes porting riding style all play a part in this design. And depending on the porting, you can report for a 4 mil. A trail/mx port can probably be done.

trickedcarbine
Call Dave at Noss Machine. Know your deck height. Quick google search will show ya a few ways to get it real quick. You can't just use shelf domes unless the jugs are on a spacer plate. Even then, a set of domes from a plethora of reputable guys will/should out perform regular pro design domes.
sleeper06
23-24cc 4 mill domes call fast racing, I would say post pics of the top of Pistons and a pic showing the connecting rod number, and big end rod pin .020 base gaskets, new oring kit with new copper washers, without measuring porting dimensions myself it would be hard to tell if 23-24 would be best for 91, good luck people replied here that have no fucking clue
totalimpact
he might have been sold one of those jerry/jimmy rigged kits that comes with the 4mm thick base spacer that goes under the cylinders, in that case you wouldnt need domes cut for 4mm - but this is a crap way to do it, it screws up the port levels completely, motor will be all out of wack and probably make a bit of low end power with a huge loss on mid-top end. Most engine builders charge $70-90 for the proper 4mm domes, check through the sponsor page to see if any are near you and maybe you can show them what you got - http://www.bansheehq.com/bansheehq-sponsors/ I took mine to HJR, Kevin did a beautiful job setting up my 4mil, its exactly what I asked for, smooth power all through the band at a very reasonable price.
